The aim of the examination is to document that a human-dog team can move in everyday situations without bothering or endangering others.

There are 3 levels of difficulty:

• Level 1: Minimum requirement according to the authorities
• Level2: All tasks are performed in different environments on the leash.
• Level 3: There are additional parts that have to be shown without leash.

Any dog can take part who

• is at least 12 months old
• is vaccinated
• is marked with a microchip

Audit process

First of all, a written theory test is carried out in the form of a multiple choice test. Passing the theory test is a prerequisite for participation in the practical examination.

The practical examination is conducted in three different environments. In a low-distraction environment (e.g. dog training area, remote meadow), a busy public walk area and in the city, man and dog must demonstrate that they can cope with everyday situations. The criteria for this are the owner's expertise, his practical handling of the dog and the level of education of the dog.
